Ellenzweig rendering
The new Academic Research Building at SUNY-ESF will be the home of the Department of Environmental and Forest Biology, providing extraordinary research facilities to nearly 40 faculty and over 150 graduate students in a building with significant “green” technologies, innovative sustainable architectural design solutions and unique landscape. Phase 1 (about 58,000 gsf) construction is planned to be finished in 2015, with Phase 2 (about 62,000 gsf) soon thereafter. The schematic design of these phases is shown in the video above. Ellenzweig (Cambridge, MA) is the architectural design and lab planning firm.
