Overview

Your objectives for this assignment are to: 1) become aware of the diversity of federal agency “actions” that are part of the NEPA process; 2) initially speculate on the range of natural, human health, and socio/economic environmental factors that must be considered in EIA; and 3) begin visualizing the decision relationships of actors and stakeholders. THIS ASSIGNMENT IS EXPLOATORY- No formal grade will be given (unless the assignment is not turned in at all). Submission due  assignment is due in class Th. Feb.1.

 

Selecting EIS’s

Explore the EPA’s NEPA website ( http://www.epa.gov/compliance/nepa/index.html ).  Under “Env. Impact Statements-Notices of Availability”, select two different (agency, location) projects.  This assignment is to be done individually.
