Personal Statement
For the past two years, I tried to explore some issues about the radiative transfer process in the vegetation with some radiative simulation and Monte Carlo techniques. I accomplished the efficiency promotion of traditional Monte Carlo ray-tracing simulation with modification from physical aspects and computational aspects. The acceleration effect is hundreds of times higher by the physical process optimization and of tens of times higher with GPU-based method. Now I come to ESF and plan to plunge myself into the curriculum for the first year. I want to research more about the applications of vegetation remote sensing in the future.
