Summer 2014 Summer FWS Application

Please complete this application if you are interested in employment through the SUNY ESF Federal Work-Study Program during the summer of 2014.

Applications must be submitted by March 1st, 2014 for first review. Applications received after March 1st WILL still be considered.

Students must also submit a processed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSA instructions can be found here.

Part 2 - Qualifications and Availability

Availability

Please indicate the start and end dates of your availability for summer employment. Start dates can be no earlier than May 12, 2014. End dates can be no later than August 24, 2014. Time off during listed time periods can be arranged directly with supervisors after the hiring process has been completed.

Work Location Preference

Please enter your preferred work locations using each of the following sites once:

  • Newcomb Campus
  • Thousand Islands Biological Station (TIBS)
  • Cranberry Lake Campus
  • Wanakena Campus (Ranger School)
  • Syracuse Campus

Summer Course Work

Please provide proof of enrollment for any courses to be taken through an institution other than SUNY ESF.

Previous Experience and Special Skills

Please answer the following two questions.

1. What previous working experiences have you had? Include part-time academic year or summer work during college and high school, special work assignments, volunteer experiences, etc.
2. What special skills do you possess that might be utilized during summer and/or academic year employment? Include typing, painting, carpentry, yard care, computer, office, and lab skills, etc.
