Introduction to Mathcad

Mathcad is a problem solving environment that can be useful to engineers, scientist and a broad range of other technical disciplines.  Some of the more common uses for Mathcad are in the areas of:

Chemical, Mechanical, Civil,  and Electrical Engineering 
Thermodynamics
Control Theory
Physics and Astronomy
Mathematics and Statistics
Finance and Economics

To start, lets look at some useful toolbars that you will need for the following exercises.
Mathcad has the following tool bars available under the View/Toolbars menu:
