Adirondack Interpretive Center
Facilities

With both our indoor and outdoor facilities, we have everything you need to make the most out of your visit!

The AIC Building

Inside the AIC building, we have an array of exhibits, props and publications that allow you to explore the natural and cultural history of the Adirondacks. In our newly renovated Northern Forest Room, you can:

  • Sit back and enjoy the birds at the feeders through our oversized plate-glass windows.
  • Discover the various wildlife communities found in the Northern Forest.
  • Learn about the natural resources that define the Northern Forest and our past, current and future use of the forest.

The Great Outdoors

Outside, our facilities include our 3.6 mile trail system. Choose your path and discover the beauty of the Adirondacks!
We also have a beautiful picnic area where you can enjoy your lunch and the company of your family and friends.
