And your gifts have supported research that has and will continue to change the world we live in.
ESF President Cornelius B. Murphy has frequently remarked on the generosity of our donors. Just as there are many different ways to help support ESF, there are also many different levels of support. The ESF College Foundation offers a variety of recognition opportunities for contributors. All contributors are listed in the annual Honor Roll of Donors as members of a gift recognition society.
Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon
Each spring, the ESF College Foundation hosts a luncheon to honor donors to SUNY-ESF's named-scholarship programs and celebrate the success of our student scholarship recipients. This event provides donors and students the opportunity to interact and learn more about each other.

- Founder—Lifetime gifts of $25,000 or more
- 1911 Society—Yearly Annual Fund gifts of $1911 or more
- President—Yearly gift of $1000 or more
- Leader—Yearly gift of $500-$999
- Pacesetter—Yearly gift of $250-$499
- Centurion—Yearly gift of $100-$249
- Pioneer—Yearly gift of $1-$99
- Robin Hood Oak Society—Members have made a planned gift or provision for ESF in their estate plans
