Hiring SUNY Students
General Information
When completing appointment forms, please list a mailing address that will result in the student receiving the paperwork.
It is a federal requirement that all employees complete an I-9 form by the third day of employment.
This form must be completed in the presence of Human Resources staff at the Syracuse Campus, or designated staff at other campus locations. The student employee must bring in appropriate identification to show identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
- List of acceptable identification as set by the federal government (PDF, also available in the Office of Human Resources)
