Thursday, September 28, 2017
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Location: Online and in D.C.
Event Description: How can world leaders employ technology, policy, and the power of story to overcome unprecedented humanitarian crises? Vimlendra Sharan, the UN-FAO's Director of the Liaison Office for North America, will join Frank Sesno at The George Washington University via Facebook Live to discuss new ideas and initiatives to feed an increasingly hungry planet.
Students will engage with this global leader, and also learn about internship opportunities with the UN-FAO and an opportunity to visit the UN-FAO’s Rome headquarters with the Planet Forward team in 2018. All majors welcome!
We'll be streaming via Facebook Live, so join us for the discussion and participate by sending us your questions in the comment section during the livestream.
Can't join us live? Don't miss out! Leave your questions now below. We'll have Mr. Sharan answer as many as we have time for from the stage!
