Location: Adirondack Interpretive Center, 5922 State Route 28N, Newcomb, NY
Local author and historian Don Seauvageau will explore the history of the Hudson Headwaters. The presentation is based on the 1978 Historic American Engineering Record, “Adirondack Iron and Steel Company: “New Furnace”, 1849-1854”. Don will also give an updated from more recent archaeological studies conducted by New York State Museum near the village of Adirondac.
