Employers

We are very proud of our students and alumni – and we’re confident they will impress you, too!

Whether you’re looking to recruit candidates or just get the word out about your organization, ESF has opportunities for you to engage with us and effective strategies for reaching our community. You can exhibit at an upcoming career/internship fair, enroll in our partnership program, publicize your job postings, or work with us to customize a program — we have many ways we’d like to work together!

Career and Internship Fair

For the most exposure to the widest audience of students studying in all our programs, participate in ESF’s Career and Internship Fair. Twice a year, we host representatives from a broad range of corporate, government, and non-profit environmental organizations — that are hiring.

This event is all about connecting our employer partners with our students to share career information and find highly qualified candidates for permanent positions, seasonal employment, and internships.

Interested in attending or learning more? Contact Career Services at careers@esf.edu or (315) 470-6900.

Partnership Program Benefits

Please note, opportunities vary by partner level. Click the link above for more information.

“Think Tank” meeting for up to eight people
Career Services will host breakfast or lunch for two representatives from your organization plus up to six key faculty, staff, and/or students at the Trailhead Café (or an equivalent location.) This will help problem solve, develop student and faculty connections, provide feedback for programs, and build relationships.

Etiquette Dinner
Support an interactive event that teaches dining etiquette in the career building process. Students will learn the proper table manners to make a positive impression during a lunch or dinner interview. In addition to your logo and organization name recognized as a key sponsor of the event, your organization can identify a representative to be the keynote or introductory presenter to kick off the event.

Student Networking Reception
This interactive event is designed as a professional networking event that gives students and recruiters a chance to meet and interact at a designated time during the semester. Career Services will work with you to ensure the primary student population you are interested in hiring is present at this event. This will include light refreshments.

Create Your Own Idea
We’re always happy to brainstorm a new idea with you that meets the spirit of engaging and connecting with students, faculty, and staff!

Sponsorship includes your logo and organization’s name displayed as well as the opportunity for a representative to distribute information about your organization and interact with students.

Site Visit Sponsorship — $1,500+ (depending on site location/number of students)
