On the hardwood, the men's basketball team traveled to Buffalo where they faced the daunting task of taking on undefeated Villa Maria. The Vikings came into the game with an unblemished 7-0 record and are currently ranked number one in the nation on the USCAA coaches poll. The Vikings forced 21 Mighty Oaks turnovers which led to 24 points as Villa Maria rolled past ESF 90-60. Five Vikings scored double-figures. Despite the lopsided score, a solid effort was put up by the Mighty Oaks. Sophomore Zach Dormer led ESF with 16 points. Senior Juston VanDuLuitgaarden had 11 points along with six rebounds.

The Mighty Oaks fall to 2-5 overall while Villa Maria improves to 8-0. ESF has a tough road schedule coming up, traveling to Cazenovia College Dec. 8 and Alfred State the following day.
