ESF Hosts Town Halls to Address Questions Regarding 2020-21 Academic Year 7/22/2020
SHARE:The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) has scheduled several virtual town halls to address the many questions people have regarding the 2020-21 academic year.
Knowing that not all groups have the same questions and concerns, the town halls are designed for four audiences: new students; new parent/family; returning student/parent-family; and faculty and staff. Each session will address a different area of concern.
New student sessions will be held on Instagram Live (@suny.esf) at 7 p.m. Dates and topics are:
July 16: Fall checklist
July 23: Centennial Hall and meal plans
Aug. 6: Office of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (OIDE) and affinity groups
Aug. 13: Student Life
New parent/family/guardian sessions will be held on Facebook Live (facebook.com/sunyesf) at 7 p.m. Dates and topics are:
July 21: Academic information
July 28: Centennial Hall, meal plans, social distancing
Aug. 4: Student Life, Diversity and Inclusion; financial aid
Returning student, parent/family/guardian sessions will be held Wednesdays on ESFTV (youtube.com/esftv)
July 15: Academics: Fall 2020
Aug. 5: Student Life: Fall 2020 at 11 a.m.
Aug. 5: Finances (CARES Act, financial aid, fees, etc.) at 7 p.m.
Aug. 12: Health and Safety at 11 a.m.
Faculty and staff sessions will be held on ESFTV. The town hall scheduled for August 19 to discuss the College's financial situation has been postponed. We expect it will be rescheduled in September.
