Dr. Limpert is a multidisciplinary social scientist and qualitative researcher who teaches writing intensive courses that focus on composition, research, media/social theory, experience, and storytelling. Her scholarly work investigates how popular culture informs our understanding of gender, identity, and the environment. Her creative pursuits include photography, experimenting with natural dyes and fibers, writing creative non-fiction and zines, and reading. In addition, Dr. Limpert holds permanent teacher certification in New York State, works with the NYS Research Foundation as a liaison for ESF in the High School, and teaches writing intensive courses in Women’s and Gender Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University.
