Request: Help with Earth Week
Each year, the Undergraduate Student Association (USA) relies on clubs, academic departments, faculty, staff and other organizations to help plan and execute events for Earth Week, April 18-24.
The Earth Week committee can offer assistance in planning the event and offer funding for an event. "At this time, we cannot confirm exactly what COVID-19 limitations will exist for in-person events, but this year we are hoping to offer a mix of in-person and online events," said Alexa Labossiere in an email.
Those interested in hosting an Earth Week event should contact [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions.
Earth Week committee meetings are held weekly throughout the semester. It is not required that student clubs planning an event have a representative at the meetings but it is helpful.
For students interested in attending, meetings are starting the week of Jan. 25; a Doodle poll is being used to pick meeting times.
