Bri'ajah'nae Hymes of Rochester, New York was the student speaker for the December Commencement exercises. Hymes majored in Environmental Biology. She is an incoming Doctor of Physical Therapy student at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

ESF Graduates: Your Passion Has Never Been More Valuable

ESF celebrated the accomplishments of the College's newest graduates on Friday at Hendricks Chapel. The College conferred 138 degrees, including 33 master's degrees and nine Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The ceremony also included the presentation of three Graduate of Distinction Awards.

ESF Receives STARS Platinum Rating for Sustainability Achievements

The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) earned a STARS Platinum rating in recognition of its sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). STARS—the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System—measures and encourages sustainability in all aspects of higher education and awards five ranking levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Reporter.

SUNY ESF to Celebrate December Graduates

The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), the most distinguished institution in the nation that focuses on the study of the environment, will award 138 degrees, including 33 master's degrees and nine Doctor of Philosophy degrees, during the 2021 December Commencement 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at Hendricks Chapel. A reception will follow in ESF's Gateway Conference Center from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

ESF Cross Country Teams are National Champs

The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) Mighty Oaks women's and men's cross country teams won the United States Collegiate Athletic Association's (USCAA) national championship in Virginia Beach today, Nov. 12. The is the first time both teams have secured national championships in the same year.

ESF Women’s Soccer Team Clinches National Championship

The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) Mighty Oaks women's soccer team won the United States Collegiate Athletic Association's (USCAA) national championship in Virginia Beach today, Nov. 15 defeating Paul Smith's College 4-1.
