Dr. Deepak Kumar Receives the Exemplary Researcher Award

Dr. Deepak Kumar was named Exemplary Researcher for 2025-26 at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). This award recognizes active researchers with outstanding publication records, impactful research programs, and strong mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students.

Graduates of the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) were reminded that they are uniquely prepared to address and help solve today’s global challenges. The College awarded 377 degrees, including 37 master’s degrees and 16 Doctor of Philosophy degrees, during Commencement exercises held Saturday, May 10 at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview.
