Lincoln University is located in Lincoln Township, near the city of Christchurch in
the Canterbury region of New Zealand’s South Island. It is the oldest agriculturally-based
university in the southern hemisphere, and offers a variety of academics as well as
other activities. Like ESF, Lincoln is a small university, which means it can offer
specialized education and support to visiting students.
The city of Christchurch is only 20 minutes away from campus and offers a variety
of cultural and entertainment options. If you enjoy outdoor activities, there are
also many opportunities for hiking, visiting the beach, seeing wildlife, and more.
