Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
Job Location and Development

ESF's Job Location and Development Program was created with the goal of bringing together students seeking employment and firms seeking competent and qualified employees.

In addition to helping students more easily afford the ever-increasing costs of higher education, the JLD Program provides an opportunity for specific career-related experience and involvement in the work world. Registered students will be listed in the JLD employee list and have access to all position listings.

For employers, the program provides a pool of highly motivated, enthusiastic, and well-trained candidates eager to make a good impression. Student employees can also offer a level of flexibility not otherwise available in the general workforce.

Job Location and Development Program Eligibility

Students: The JLD Program is open to all currently enrolled SUNY ESF students, both full and part-time. Since the program is not part of Federal College Work-Study, financial aid eligibility is not required.

Employers: Anyone looking to hire a student employee is encouraged to take advantage of the program. Beyond the wages paid to hired employees, there are no associated fees.
