Regalia Reuse Program

The Office of Sustainability has partnered with The Office of Alumni Relations and The Office of Student Affairs to offer a Regalia Reuse Program at ESF. This program allows for alumni to donate gently used graduation regalia for soon-to-be Might Oak graduates to rent and wear on their big day! On average, graduation regalia is only worn for 90 minutes, with over 5 million ending up in the landfill annually. By donating or borrowing graduation regalia you are keeping “single use” textiles out of the landfill and further fulfilling ESF’s mission to Improve Our World!

Donating Regalia

Donated regalia should be in clean, gently used, and free of stains or heavy perfumes/colognes condition. Please only donate ESF branded graduation regalia.

How to donate:

Leave it after the ceremony — there will be a drop off bin outside of the ESF Bookstore in Gateway. Drop it off — bring it to the Office of Sustainability (122 Bray) after commencement. Ship it — send your regalia to: Office of Sustainability, 1 Forestry Dr, 122 Bray Hall, Syracuse, NY 13210

Borrowing Regalia

More information will be provided here as December 2024 commencement approaches. To be notified when rental opens, follow @esfsustainability on Instagram!
