Statement of Accreditation Status

SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry is an Accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) www.msche.org. SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry’s accreditation status is Non-Compliance Warning. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on June 22, 2023, was to warn the institution that its accreditation may be in jeopardy because of insufficient evidence that the institution is currently in compliance with Standard V (Educational Effectiveness Assessment) and Standard VI (Planning, Resources, and Institutional Improvement). MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
