SUNY ESF
Special Event Pass Permit
Process & Rules
- SUNY ESF has parking areas that are available for use during events held at the Syracuse University Stadium (“Special Event”), and SUNY ESF will allow use of the parking areas by persons holding a Special Event Pass.
- SUNY ESF reserves the right to exclude dates from use with the Special Event Pass, and any such dates will be communicated reasonably in advance to passholders. Graduation ceremonies and other activities on either the Syracuse University campus or the SUNY ESF campus are excluded from the Special Events Pass. SUNY ESF may need to temporarily suspend or modify access during emergencies or other special situations. Such changes will be communicated by signs, public announcement, or on-site supervision.
- A Special Event Pass is a permit for parking within the Permitted Parking Areas, and its use is governed by the “SUNY ESF Special Events Pass Terms and Conditions of Use”, attached to this document and available on the SUNY ESF website. If a passholder violates such terms, the pass may be revoked and use suspended without refund. Obtaining and using a pass is acknowledgment of the terms and an agreement to be bound by them during the use of SUNY ESF Permitted Parking Areas.
- Special Event Passes are available for purchase through the SUNY ESF University Police Department at the price of $500.00 (five hundred dollars), inclusive of sales tax. All sales are final and non-refundable.
- A request for an application for a Special Event Pass may be made to the SUNY ESF University Police Department, subject to availability. (email: parking@esf.edu) If the application is approved, a link for payment will be provided.
- A Special Event Pass is valid for a period of one year, commencing August 1 and ending July 31 in the following calendar year.
- Students, Faculty, Staff, and any other authorized users who hold another type of parking pass issued by SUNY ESF University Police may request a single use pass to be used for Special Events, subject to availability. Use of such single use pass is subject to the Special Events Pass Terms and Conditions of Use. (email: parking@esf.edu)
- For groups or individuals participating in other events on the SUNY ESF campus on days on which Special Events will be held, application for a set of single use passes may be made in advance, subject to availability and approval by the Office of the President. (email: parking@esf.edu, ask for the “Application – Single Use Pass (Other Event)”)
- Single use passes are not available for sale.
- Individuals requiring accommodations or assistance may make a request to the SUNY ESF University Police.
