ESF College Foundation
Annual Report 2019-20

Dear Friends,

Brenda GreenfieldI am honored to share with you the ESF College Foundation Annual Report and Honor Roll of Donors. You'll find yourself listed among thousands of alumni, parents, friends, and organizations who generously provided financial support for ESF students and academic programs. Thank you.

Your collective giving totaled more than $3.3-million in fiscal year 2019-20, allowing the college to award nearly 1,100 scholarships to deserving students, expand our fellowship opportunities, and enhance our research programs. This past academic year, we welcomed our inaugural class of Sloan Indigenous Graduate Fellows; operations expanded at the Lafayette Road Experiment Station to support the American Chestnut Project; and our faculty led research on the relationship between human health and the environment while studying Lyme Disease. All of this was possible, and will continue, because of your support. Thanks to your generous donations in response to a matching challenge grant sponsored by Sam and Carol Nappi, we also launched the Extraordinary Aid Fund which will support students impacted by COVID-19 in the 2020-2021 academic year.

The following pages celebrate your extraordinary impact on the College's success. To represent this impact, this publication features a sampling of the students and programs you've influenced this year, and stories from donors like yourself. Our rosters of generous individuals and organizations are included as well, in a fresh new format.

You make a difference here. I hope you feel a sense of pride in what your investment in us accomplished at the College and in the lives of our students. We are incredibly grateful for your support.

Sincerely,

Brenda Greenfield
