Northern Forest Institute
Adirondack Interpretive Center
As its primary public outreach facility, the Northern Forest Institute manages the Adirondack Interpretive Center. With 3.6 miles of trails and a visitor center open year-round, the AIC helps NFI staff connect with thousands of visitors every year.
The AIC provides both important indoor and outdoor space for NFI-supported programs, events and trainings. Through the AIC's facilities, NFI offers recreational opportunities and educational programs to regional tourists and residents throughout the year.
