This talk will explore how river confluences may enhance the mixing of groundwater and river water, a process that is beneficial to water quality. This talk will be provided by Mr. Ivo Martone, a PhD student at University of Federico II, Naples Italy. Mr. Martone has been in conducting his research on river confluences in central New York, and in residence at ESF since June 2018.
