A rewarding career. A respected SUNY degree. A fresh start with purpose.

Combining hands-on learning, small class sizes, and the unmatched outdoor classroom of the Adirondacks, these programs are designed for students who are ready to build practical skills and make an impact.

If you’ve earned college credits in the past but never completed your degree, this could be your opportunity to finish what you started and chart a new path forward.

Important info

These programs are offered exclusively at ESF’s Ranger School in Wanakena, New York, located in the Adirondack Park. While SUNY Reconnect covers eligible educational costs for qualified students, participants are responsible for their own housing, meals, transportation, and other personal living expenses.

In addition, applicants must have prior college credits available for transfer. These programs are not designed for students starting college for the first time. An admissions counselor will review your previous coursework to determine transfer eligibility and help identify the best pathway forward.
