Seminar: Effects of Species on Ecosystems: Addressing the Complexity under Global ChangeCampus Calendar
Wednesday, February 10, 2010
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Location: 110 Moon Library
Event Description: Seminar by Dr. Ann Russell, Iowa State University. Global environmental change, especially climate change, land-use change, and loss of biodiversity, bring fundamental changes to life-sustaining processes on Earth. Using a systems approach, Dr. Russell investigates the theoretical underpinnings of the control of plant species over environmental change, and explores the implications for developing more sustainable managed ecosystems.
