Women's Soccer Team Earns Win Over Cazenovia
The Mighty Oaks women defeated the Cazenovia College Bobcats 4-0 Thursday, Sept 22.
ESF had strong possession throughout the game and several scoring opportunities thanks to aggressive midfield play by senior Kaley Donovan, senior Sue Fassler and freshman Ashley Miller. Goals were scored by senior Wendy Getman, Miller, and freshman Bridget Cuddihy, who also had two assists. Senior Drew Gamils also scored a dramatic half -ield chip shot.
Cuddihy is currently ranked seventh for goals in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, while the Mighty Oaks team is ranked 16th overall.
The ESF women will face off against Yeshiva University in New York City Sunday Sept. 25.
