Tim Callahan Wins the CCOC Championship
Graduate student Timothy Callahan finished in first place with a time of 26:34 at the CCOC (Cross Country Only Conference) Championship held on Oct. 18 at Seneca Lake State Park. Callahan beat out 144 runners from 14 different schools.
Junior Stephen Slonosky finished in fifth place with a time of 27:12 for the Mighty Oaks. Also finishing strong for the Mighty Oaks was Thomas Arcuri (17th - 27:32), Reed Scott (20th - 27:39) and Michael Persson (22nd - 24:57).
The Mighty Oaks men's cross country look to defend its title at the USCAA Cross Country National Championship at the Drumlins Nov. 7.
