First-Year Runners Compete at SUNY-IT
The Mighty Oaks women's and men's freshman cross-country runners had their first taste of collegiate cross country in a 6K short course race at SUNY-IT in Utica Aug. 30.
For the women, Camila Ferguson-Sierra finished 15th overall with a time of 21:50. Other notable finishers were Samantha Hollister (28th), Courtney Pitman (38th) and Emily Verbeck (40th).
For the men, Nick Giordano finished 29th with a time of 21:31. Other notable finishers were Rich Monaco (35th), Braden Mungeaum (39th) and Ryan Shaw (41st).
