Senate Hearing on Renewable Energy at ESF
State Senator Rachel May, D-Syracuse, is a cosponsor of the Climate and Community Protection Act. Not only would the bill require the state to shift to 100 percent renewable energy by 2050, but it will promote job opportunities within the renewable energy sector. She held a hearing at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, February 21, 2019, to give stakeholders from Central New York an opportunity to weigh in on what could be far-reaching legislation.
