ESF Seeks RFP for New Syracuse Campus Building Using Mass Timber
The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) is excited to announce plans to build a new facility at its Syracuse (NY) campus. This building will serve as a new “gateway” and provide improved accessibility to the entire campus.
The project is envisioned to be a building constructed of mass timber and other low-carbon materials. The College encourages submissions to the New York State University Construction Fund for the design of the building. Emphasis should be on the design team's significant experience with zero carbon building designs and mass timber structures.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) is open until 5/2/23 and can be located here.
