Mighty Oaks Women’s Soccer Head to USCAA National Championship
SYRACUSE, NY – Nov. 10, 2023 – The ESF women’s soccer team heads to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national championships next week with the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference(HVIAC) conference championship title under their belt.
The team had a tremendous year with a record of 7-3-1. The Mighty Oaks won the HVIAC Conference Championship for the seventh straight year. Ten ESF players were recognized for all-conference honors:
- 1st team All-Conference: Mackenzie Koniszewski, Jessica Bolton, Ryan Hesch, Isabelle Chavoustie
- 2nd team All-Conference: Olivia Dombek, Bay Holmes, Taylor Weber, Nadia White
- Honorable mention All-Conference: Emma Miller, Abby Neill
The team now travels to Pittsburgh to compete in the USCAA National Championship with play beginning Friday, Nov. 17. The team received the overall number two seed in the tournament and will compete against teams from Paul Smiths College, Christendom College, Central Maine Community College, Penn State Mont Alto and University of Cincinnati of Clermont.
