ESF Announces Honorary Degree Recipient Camille Dungy

The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) will present an Honorary Degree to Camille Dungy during its 2 p.m. May 11 commencement exercises at the Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview. Dungy is an award-winning author and editor who has worked tirelessly to expand the realm of nature literature and environmental studies by bringing African-American voices into the canon.
ESF Women Claim USCAA Track and Field National Championship

The SUNY ESF Women’s Outdoor Track and Field team brought home a national championship over the weekend and Coach Mike Melfi was named USCAA Track Coach of the Year.

ESF Graduate Students Receive GREAT Award

Two graduate students from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) are among 27 students selected for the 2024 SUNY Graduate Research Empowering and Accelerating Talent (GREAT) award. Recognized as outstanding student researchers, Christian Bright and Leah David Rubin will each receive $5,000 in flexible funding for research expenses, professional development, and stipend supplements.
