SUNY ESF Launches New Safety App

As part of an ongoing commitment to campus safety, the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry launched ESF Safe, a new free mobile safety app for all members of the ESF community that provides emergency information and links to safety resources.

SUNY ESF Leads Groundbreaking Research in Groundwater’s Role in Ecosystem Sustainability

Until now, groundwater – a critical water resource around the globe, especially in dry regions – has been largely unstudied in its importance and role in sustaining ecosystems. A new groundbreaking research effort led by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in partnership with University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), Cardiff University, and Desert Research Institute (DRI) examines the relationship between groundwater and ecosystems across California. Their innovative findings are featured in Nature Water.

Mighty Oaks Down Lazers 93-77 in Battle at the Dome

The JMA Wireless Dome glowed green in the Syracuse skyline Sunday, Feb. 25, when the ESF Mighty Oaks triumphed over the Onondaga Community College Lazers with a decisive 93-77 victory. The Battle at the Dome commenced at 7 p.m., showcasing an intense face-off between the two SUNY men's teams. Doors swung open at 6 p.m. for the free-admission game.
