About the Program
The governor of New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo, has recently announced the launch of a program called the "New York Stands with Puerto Rico Recovery and Rebuilding Initiative". In partnership with the SUNY Puerto Rico task force, the Governor is asking for SUNY and CUNY students to participate in a service project in Puerto Rico to help rebuild after the devastating hurricane season of 2017. This program will have 10 different two to three week sessions spanning from June - August and will be run through different SUNY schools.
Please note that this program is a hands-on extensive service project. Students should expect this program will require physical work in a difficult environment. If you have questions about the physical or emotional rigor please contact email@example.com.

Program Information will be updated on this page when it becomes available. Please contact the Office of International Education at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional questions.
ESF's session will be run in sponsorship with All Hands and Hearts, who will work to provide lodging, food, and coordination of all service work at no cost to the students. Other organizations are involved in other sessions, including Heart 9/11 and NECHAMA
