ESF to Host Public Hearing on Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act Goals

The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, the most distinguished institution in the nation that focuses on the study of the environment, will host one of 10 public hearings led by the NYS Climate Action Council at 4 p.m. April 26 in the Gateway Center.

The Council is seeking public input on the State's nation-leading climate goals under the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA). All members of the campus community are encouraged to attend and/or speak during the hearing. Written comments may also be submitted.

Pre-registration is recommended for those who intend to speak. Speakers are limited to two minutes, but longer statements are able to be submitted in writing. Written comments are limited to 2,000 words and can be submitted via a Public Comment Form.
