23rd Annual NYS Green Building Conference Includes Clean Energy Career Fair
NYSERDA to be presented with Green Advocate of the Year
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – March 26, 2025 – The 23rd annual New York State Green Building Conference, hosted by the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) brings together approximately 250 professional engineers, architects, and manufacturers to promote, educate, and support green building design, construction, and processes. The conference is hosted in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council New York Upstate and the Syracuse Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems (SyracuseCoE).
The event includes the presentation of the David C. Ashley Green Building Advocate of the Year award. This year, the award is being presented to NYSERDA in recognition of their 50th anniversary of service and advocacy.
This year’s conference includes the Third Annual Clean Energy Career Fair from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27 hosted by EnergySmart CNY, Central New York’s NYSERDA Regional Clean Energy Hub.
The New York State Green Building Conference participants represent numerous industries, including architecture, engineering, construction, consulting, deconstruction, landscape architecture, government, higher education, K-12 education, state agencies, real estate, and management firms. This diverse representation ensures a comprehensive and enriching experience for all attendees.
