Inha University was founded in 1952 as the Inha Institute of Technology and became a university in 1971. It has continued to expand and now has a student body of approximately 20,000. As an exchange program, ESF welcomes students from Inha to study in Syracuse, in addition to sending ESF students there.

Inha University is in Incheon, a city on the border of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It is a port city in the northwest of South Korea and is a transportation hub.

Housing

Inha University offers both on-campus and off-campus housing options. On-campus students will share a room with three other students. The residence halls include a cafeteria, laundry room, lounge area, and computer room. The International Office is also able to assist students in locating an off-campus studio room for those who prefer. Cost

Your semester at Inha University can be affordable! You will pay your ESF tuition and fees, and will then be responsible for additional costs that can include flight, housing, study abroad health insurance, food, and travel and incidentals. See below for a sample budget breakdown. Please note, the amount of money you spend will vary depending on your lifestyle: for example, if you travel often on weekends or during holidays, go out a lot, do a lot of shopping, etc.

Inha University's International Office is available to assist students throughout the application process and while you are studying at Inha. They also offer a buddy program for incoming exchange students to be paired with an Inha student to help them adjust to life in Korea. The International Student Lounge at Inha is a place where international students can relax, receive language tutoring, access computers, get travel information, and participate in cultural activities and events. Inha also offers student services such as counseling and a student health center, as well as a variety of student clubs.
