    • This Earth Week, screen the brand new (April 2024) documentary telling the climate stories from the Florida frontlines from the activists resisting the intersecting oppressions of climate injustice, transphobia, and homophobia.   Hear directly from co-director Yarrow Konig (they/them) plus Q&A with Yarrow and one of the activists, Jimmy Dunson (any pronouns; co-founder of Mutual Aid Disaster Relief).
    • Co-hosted by the Earth Week Committee; Office of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA Office); Department of Environmental Studies;  MOSA Intersectional Collective (MOSAIC); Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA); Student Environmental Education Coalition (SEEC); and the  ESF Women's Caucus; 

Ongoing programs:

  • Coffee Breaks.  Informal discussions around current campus events, challenges and strategies, and recognizing and countering biases.  
  • ESF Family Pre-School Playdates
    • The Graduate Student Association and ESF Women’s Caucus cordially invite children 5 and under and their ESF student or employee to chat and play!  (Older siblings are also welcome).  We aim to have a rain location for any outdoor programs.  For dates and times, visit: 

  • Workshop: Building a Better Fieldwork Future: Preventing Sexual Harassment & Assault in Field Sciences
