Student Governance

Mighty Oak Student Assembly (MOSA)

Founded in 1919, the Undergraduate Student Association serves as the representative voice and student government for the undergraduate student body at ESF. Now rebranded as MOSA, the purpose remains the same: to unite those who wish to promote the social, academic, cultural, and professional interests of the student body.

MOSA is responsible for:

  • Allocating the student activity fee
  • Planning and coordinating events
  • Maintaining connections between students, faculty, and staff
  • Representing the undergraduate student voice in campus discussions

Graduate Student Association (GSA)

GSA acts as the representative body of graduate students of ESF. Its mission is to serve as an advocate for student sentiment and needs by advising and cooperating with the Administration and Faculty on all administrative, curricular, and instructional affairs that pertain to, or are concern of, the graduate students of the College.
