  • Distinguished member of the editorial board of the Journal Recent Patents On Materials Science.
  • BioPlatic Polymers and Composites: (2001-present) Vice President Research

Dow Corning Corporation:

  • (1992-2000) Research Scientist - U.S. leader of the polymerization expertise center. Discovered and introduced technologies with impact on catalysis, high temperature stabilization, silicone-organics copolymers and IPN's, RT cure and inhibition, high temperature vulcanization, surface grafting, hydrolysis of chlorosilanes, new process for production of organofunctional polysiloxanes, and new polymerization processes. These contributions were incorporated into commercial silicone elastomers, resins and fluids products
  • (1986-1992) Senior Research Specialist - Organized and supervised a research group dealing with hydrogel materials. Developed a "Technology Research" methodology as a communication tool between research and marketing. Established world reputation in proprietary tough hydrogels for extrusion, coating, foams, sub-micron particles and medical devices.
  • (1978 - 1985) Technical leader of the water-base expertise center group in Dow Corning R&D. Research activities in the areas of silicone emulsions, microemulsions, gels, and water interactions with polymers led to significant contributions and commercialization of Silicone Water Base Elastomers (SWBE).
