Examples of Special Circumstances:

  • Loss of employment
  • Loss of income
  • Reduction or loss of child support
  • Death of an immediate family member
  • Unusual unreimbursed medical expenses

  • Secondary school tuition expenses
  • Other documented special circumstances outside of the student's control

Students with documented special circumstances who would like to be considered for a review under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) should submit a fully completed application along with all requested documentation to the SUNY ESF Office of Financial Aid.
