The Department of Environmental Resources Engineering offers programs that build expertise in core technical competencies (mathematics; physical, chemical, and biological sciences, coding and data analysis) while developing engineering problem solving and design skills. Additionally, students gain deeper domain knowledge in the areas of  ecological engineering, geospatial engineering, and water resources engineering. Graduates are well positioned to use technology and science to solve pressing environmental problems while taking into consideration the economic, social, and ecological complications of real-world systems.
