Employment Authorization Requests

Update 1: Before submitting CPT application materials to the Office of International Education (OIE), ESF students must first obtain a recommendation letter from their academic advisor (template available on the OIE website). The recommendation letter must then be submitted to the Office of Instruction (227 Bray Hall) to obtain Dean’s endorsement. Students must also provide proof of registration in the course associated with the CPT for the current semester

Update 2: The Office of International Education reserves the right to a three-week time frame for reviewing and processing any submitted requests. Students should anticipate OIE to take up to three weeks and should expect to submit documents early in order to avoid potential complications.
