CPEP provides 24 hour, 7 days a week evaluation and treatment for individuals of all ages who are suffering from an acute mental health crisis.

The SUNY Upstate Medical University Emergency Room is a state teaching hospital very close to campus, SUNY medical center provides a wide range of psychiatric services, including emergency assessment, hospitalization, and outpatient care.

Crouse Hospital

The Crouse Hospital Emergency Room provides emergency services and assessment for all medical emergencies. There are no inpatient psychiatric services in-house. It is the closest emergency room to campus.

The CONTACT 24 hour, toll free hotline provides free, anonymous, confidential 24-hour telephone counseling, crisis intervention, and information and referral to persons in distress or crisis. Certified volunteers assist callers with a wide range of problems and issues.
