St Joseph’s Hospital's Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP)

CPEP provides 24 hour, 7 days a week evaluation and treatment for individuals of all ages who are suffering from an acute mental health crisis.

The SUNY Upstate Medical University Emergency Room is a state teaching hospital very close to campus, SUNY medical center provides a wide range of psychiatric services, including emergency assessment, hospitalization, and outpatient care.

The Crouse Hospital Emergency Room provides emergency services and assessment for all medical emergencies. There are no inpatient psychiatric services in-house. It is the closest emergency room to campus.

The Trevor Project Lifeline is free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
Trevor Chat - Online help
Trans Lifeline is a non-profit dedicated to the well-being of transgender people. We run a hotline staffed by transgender people for transgender people. Trans Lifeline volunteers are ready to respond to whatever support needs members of our community might have.
Vera House provides a 24-hour crisis, support, and information line, and emergency shelter to ensure that women and children are safe from violence. Actively engaged in domestic violence education and training in the community, Vera House offers counseling and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and children who witness abuse.
