About the ESF Annual Fund

The ESF Annual Fund provides flexible resources to help educate the next generation of environmental leaders.

Annual gifts to the ESF College Foundation have a substantial and immediate impact on those that need it most: ESF students. Your gift will help ensure that one more talented young person will have the opportunity to learn the tools necessary to make a difference in the world in the years to come. And it will provide direct assistance to the students who will one day be working to address some of the most pressing issues to face our society.

These issues include our global environment, the wise use of the world’s natural resources, and planning for growth. And the challenges they pose are widely debated in the media and by concerned people everywhere.

However, solutions to these challenges will only be achieved through the dedicated work of people with a strong educational foundation in the environmental sciences.

ESF has immersed students in environment-related courses for nearly a century. It is the premiere college in the United States devoted exclusively to the study of the environment, and ESF is ranked as one of the nation’s best colleges. Our graduates receive a strong background and play major roles in ensuring a healthy, productive world for future generations. And it is the generosity of our alumni, parents and friends that make this possible.

What will your gift fund?

  • Student scholarships based on academic merit and financial need
  • New strategic initiatives for the college
  • Enhancement of properties, facilities and equipment
  • Flexibility to react to unanticipated needs

Matching Gifts

Does your employer match contributions? You can possibly double the value of your gift to ESF if your answer is yes. Contact your personnel office to see if your company has a matching gift program. And don’t forget, many companies will match the gifts of spouses and retirees.
