Mens Soccer Team Defeats College of Pharmacy; Women Tie

The Mighty Oaks men's and women's soccer teams met the Panthers from the Albany College of Pharmacy Sept. 30 with the ESF men winning 3-0 and the women playing to a 1-1 tie in an exciting match.

Cross Country: Men First, Women Second at Cazenovia

The ESF Mighty Oaks men's cross-country team finished first in the Cazenovia Homecoming Invitational Race Sept. 29 as ESF sophomore Timmy Callahan won the race and set a course record with a 27:22. The previous record was by ESF's Brian Busby, with a 28:04.

Men’s Soccer Team Nips Cazenovia 1-0; Women Fall 3-2

The Mighty Oaks men's and women's soccer teams met the Cazenovia Wildcats Sept. 29, with the men winning 1-0 and the women losing 3-2 despite making a great comeback after having been down by three goals.

Men's Soccer Team Ties at Canton; Women Beat 6th-ranked Kangaroos

The Mighty Oaks met the SUNY Canton Kangaroos in men's and women's soccer Sept. 25, with the men's finishing with a 1-1 tie in an exciting double-overtime game and the women triumphing 1-0 over the sixth-ranked team in the USCAA.

Cross Country: Men Third, Women Fifth at Cortland

The Mighty Oaks men's and women's cross-country teams traveled to SUNY Cortland to run in the Jack Daniels Shoot Out invitational race Sept. 22, with the men finishing third out of nine teams and the women finishing fifth out of nine.

Soccer Teams Lose to Daemen College

Both ESF soccer teams came up short against Daemen College in physical matches Sept. 22 with a 2-1 loss for the men and a 3-1 loss for the women .

ESF Golf Team Wins Friday and Saturday

The ESF golf team began two days of play by traveling to Cazenovia Country Club Sept. 21, where the Mighty Oaks won by one stroke against Canton with a 337 total.

How Does Their Garden Grow? Organically

It's a casual Sunday and some ESF students are splitting a watermelon that they had grown organically at a student-run garden south of Syracuse. The melon had been harvested by members of the Green Campus Initiative (GCI) club at ESF, which cultivates the garden at the college's Lafayette Road Experiment Station.

The ESF golfers had a rare rough day when they traveled to the Oswego Country Club Sept. 17 for the Oswego Fall Invitational where they placed seventh out of nine teams.
