ESF sophomore Heather Carl's rocket shot from 30 yards away early in the game at the 14th minute mark sealed a 1-0 win for the Mighty Oaks women's soccer team as well as its first-ever win against Albany Pharmacy in the three-year history of the matchup.

The Earth Lectures, part of ESF's First-Year Experience, are based on the success of last year's inaugural effort and are designed to help new students transition into the ESF community by providing a group of presentations dedicated to any and all things Earth related with topics coming from several ESF departments.
