Survey
NYView has prepared a survey to engage potential consortium members and determine
how remote sensing data is being used in NY State and how we might better facilitate
such applications. We will use the applications highlighted in the survey to catalog
a series of demonstration datasets that can support research in remote sensing, but
can also facilitate broader outreach efforts to support understanding of the potential
applications for remote sensing. New York State already has great data archives, and
we are not trying to duplicate such services; rather we are seeking to enhance efficiencies
in using that data.
